1.00 amputation. Compressed or pinched by shifting objects or equipment — Amputations — Fingertip(s). An employee had been grounding copper wire to the ground grid and was helping move cable jack reel stands out of the way. As the employee was tipping a reel stand onto its side, the adjustable roller head slid down and pinched the employee's right middle finger against the top of the stand. The fingertip was medically amputated about 1/4 inch from the end.
